Mr. Charles Peters

We’re excited to introduce Mr. Charles Peters as the new band director at Trinity High School! With over two decades of teaching experience, Mr. Peters brings a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm, and dedication to our music program.
Mr. Peters began his teaching career in 2004 in Granville County and was instrumental in launching the Granville Central music programs in 2007. In 2013, he moved to Asheboro to lead the Southwestern Randolph Band and Theatre programs, later teaching math at AHS in 2021. Most recently, he taught band at Greensboro Day School before joining us this winter.
A proud graduate of Augustana College and a skilled trombone player, Mr. Peters has been an active part of the Randolph County Jazz since 2014 and has contributed to various theatre productions since 2006. His passion for the arts is matched by his commitment to fostering a supportive and inspiring environment for students.
Outside the classroom, Mr. Peters enjoys spending time with his two dogs, exploring tabletop and board games, building Legos, and reading. He is also a proud father! His daughter lives and works in the Triangle, and his son is active in color guard in Charlotte and performs with the Cavaliers in Rosemont, IL.
We are thrilled to have Mr. Peters join the Blue Crew family. His expertise and enthusiasm promise an exciting future for our band program!
